Before that, he filled IT leadership roles since 1993 in diverse industries, such as Product Management for Plant Automation Systems at Sonda, the largest IT services firm in Chile, Chief Operations Officer for Tata Consultancy Services (formerly Comicrom), the largest document management, processing and consulting firm in Chile, Senior Manager for Product Design and Development for Verizon Communications, leading a business, creative and technical team based in MA, NJ, NY, TX and India., as well as founder and CTO for the operational benchmarking service provider for Coca Cola 100+ bottling plants in Latin America.

Edwin is holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad de Chile (1995), as well as an MS in Management and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2000). He has taught at both Universities in the areas of Digital Information.
